Lingua-Universidad de Alcalá has taken part in the First Meeting on Linguistic Tourism organized by the
Excelentísima Diputación de Cáceres through its Patronato de Turismo (the body in charge of coordinating all the touristic activities which take place in Cáceres).
The Corporate Development Manager of Lingua, Nieves de Mingo, presented an intervention based on the implications of linguistic tourism considered from the point of view of the student-customer.
The meeting helped the participants to reflect on the multiple possibilities of the Spanih language as an economic resource associated to tourism and counted on the intervention of different representatives of various institutions (Salamanca City Hall, University of Granada, FEDELE) and others who told about their private successful experiences in this field.
The presence of Lingua in this kind of meetings around lingüistic tourism is more and more active due to the vision it can offer based on the combination of the institutional character of the centre with its credited dedication to the student´s service.

 

On April 23 Lingua-University of Alcalá obtained the certification of its system of quality management according to ISO 9001 model.
